Meet at 8:45 am at Jon's tax office. North 1/2 blk of Menaul and 2 blks east of Louisiana. The Claremont bike route is one and a half blks north. We will be back by noon. We will be mostly on bike routes and trails. Must stay with the leader to get Club mileage.

UNM Observatory Parking Lot, Yale north of Lomas
City Circle Tour w/variation
This ride was developed by Mark Pasnewski. http://www.nmts.org/rides/cityCircle.htm. One variation has been added. The ride starts at the UNM Observatory, then to Constitution to Tramway. North on Tramway to the Sandia Casino. At the roundabout, go north to Bernalillo (the variation). Turnaround point is the convenience store @ the first traffic light in Bernalillo. Then back to 4th to Guadalupe to Alameda to the Bosque bike path. Ride south past Paseo del Norte, Montano, I-40 and Central, turn east pass Tingley to 8th to Silver to 12th to Tijeras to Martin Luther King. Optional shorter ride: Eliminate jog to Bernalillo.

Rail Runner South Capital stop
Check out Bike Route 66 across Santa Fe
The ride starts so you can take the morning Rail Runner up to Santa Fe. This is part of the Bicycle Route 66 across New Mexico project (part of the National Bicycle Route 66). We have a meeting with the NM DOT at 9:15 - 10:15, then we will check out the Bicycle Route 66 across Santa Fe. Return on the 1:02 or 4:10 train (from the Depot). Please contact Chris Marsh if you are planning on going on this meeting/ride.

Join us for a weekend down in Las Cruces. The rides will follow low traffic roads in the Rio Grande Valley. We will ride to Hatch for lunch on Saturday. On Saturday night we will eat dinner in La Mesilla. There will be a short ride south on Sunday before returning home. The La Quinta offers low rates, a free breakfast and high speed internet.

Alvarado-Moon
This ride will head south on Moon to Eastern where we will head west to Alvarado and then head north. At the northern part of the ride we will sample portions of the Pino Trail, the South Domingo Trail and the North Pino Trail. Lunch stop will be at Einstein’s on Academy near Moon. Return to starting point will be on the Moon bike lane. This ride is nearly flat with very few minor uphill sections. A test run of this ride confirmed that it is downhill on the way out and on the way back. As usual with these slow paced rides, there will not be any maps or cue sheets. All riders are to stay with the group.

Bernalillo/Rio Rancho Home Depot; SW corner of hwy528&hwy550
Easy San Ysidro
Parking at the North end of the Home Depot this ride departs for San Ysidro via Hwy 550 with the turnaround/snackstop at the Shell station just before Hwy 4 at San Ysidro. Optional post ride lunch at the Bernalillo Flying Star on Hwy 313.
